You are taking this well, what a great attitude. Luckily it was below freezing out and there was no permanent damage.
It would be nice that "if what goes around comes around" was reality and then they should get theirs tenfold, but unfortunately scumbags like that really need a good
talking to.
I hope you find out who did this and then you should file a complaint with the police and sue them for damages or at least give them a good "talking to"

I park normal, right next to the other team members. There was a black c6 double parked behind me when I got to work. Maybe they were jealous and did it

There are bums around the area where my store is, but I don't think they would waste their hard earned money throwing food at my car.
East High School (The real one from high school musical) is just down the street, so punk kids are always around, but again why would the spend money to do that.
I don't think I've angered any of my employees lately, but who knows. Not everyone is getting the hours they want and being the boss, sometimes I have to be the bad guy.
I was about to get angry, but that is what the person wants. I'm not going to give them what they want. Who knows, maybe someday they will give me a new paint job.
I'll watch the paint over the next while. I have heard that eggs can take time to do their damage. I agree that the freezing of the food probably helped. Good thing the car wash spits out extra hot water this time of year.

Unfortunately, in this day and age, security cameras have become a good investment. We had issues with scrap steel being stolen from our dumpster. Tried a couple of simple things, but finally spent about $3500 on security cameras and a computer that recorded what was going on behind our plant. Put a stop to the thievery and learned some other interesting things-----especially about night shift.
You may want to consider the same for your parking lot and entrances.

Spend the money for a portable camera on a tri-pod and put it on a roof or whatever. You can ever hire a security company temporarily to do something like this for you. Whomever is doing this, is going to continue and it might get worse. Just a dumb thought here, I wonder if your insurance company would be interested in doing this for you since the damage may be severe the next time and they would be on the hook for it?

That's the nice part of my work. We share a base with the military, so there are cameras and armed guards all over the place. No worries about the car.

There are some other liability issues about a large retail store's parking lot. I see more and more parking lots with signs about the area being under video surveillance. You may want to discuss this with the owners.

That sucks! There's nothing stopping them from doing it again though. I would definitely talk to someone about getting some surveillance cameras setup in the parking lot. Good luck!
