So about 4 months ago somebody threw some food from Taco Bell and Wendy's at my car. Tonight I come out of work and it had about a dozen eggs and what seemed like syrup or honey all over it.

I calmly walked around the car. I decided to file a report this time in case there was paint damage. It was around 28 degrees outside so it was all frozen to the car. The officer took the report over the phone. I drove by a gas station to get a disposable camera (my phone doesn't have one). I proceed to the car wash, take pictures under the lights, and then put 6 bucks in the machine. I pre-soaked, high pressure washed, rinsed, and then spot free rinsed.

When I got home I looked at it in the bright lights of my garage and it seems fine. I can't tell what is stuff from normal wear and tear or if it is from the eggs. I don't think the shells would do anything.

I wasn't really mad and I'm not going to say anything at work. If it was an employee of mine they will want the attention. My car needed cleaned anyways. If the car does get damaged, that is what insurance is for. I'm not going to be afraid to drive my car whenever and where ever I want. I truly believe what goes around comes around and the unfortunate tards that did this to my car will someday pay. In the mean time I am at peace

Sorry to hear that. Glad to hear you are in good place mentally. I worked at at place that was "hit" often by those who needed stereo stuff by way of broken windows. It got to the point that camera's were placed all around the building. It is also the reason I have no deductable.

Damn, that would make me want to buy a pillow case and a half a dozen doorknobs and find the person(s) who did it. You're taking it much better than I would.

Not again!! Man, I gotta say, you're taking it very well. Watch your paint carefully. Eggs do a number on paint. But, fortunately for you, it was below freezing. This can actually keep the yolk from getting into your clearcoat, simply because the acids don't have enough time to work into the paint before they freeze. Hopefully, this is the case with yours.
Let us know how she looks in a couple days.

Not trying to start anything here but when you park your car you are parking it normal right? Your not in the back row at an angle taking up two spaces? That still does not justify the actions I am just curious if you are drawing their attention by something you are doing.

 

I understand where you are going with this question, but IMHO, it shouldn't matter. You just don't mess with someone's car like that!!
