We have sure enjoyed our retirement (my wife and I both retired in June of 2006). For the first time in my life, it seems like I can do the things I want to do----instead of what the "job" required!!
If your travels bring you to SE Minnesota, give me a shout.

"every day is Friday from this point on"Been out for a few years now. Kept busy with some family stuff at home (wifes mom ill, wife surgery), but thats all cleared up.
Now . . .I feel like Im retired

But, now we find that we need a very small amount of additional $ to feel comfortable, so . . .oddly enough, you are leaving in May and I should be starting a one or two day work week by then

Oh well, I think it will help structure my week better anyway, looking forward to it.
Dont know what you did for a living but one day you'll be standing there in the morning, sipping cofee, looking out at two feet of snow and you'll say " yup, someone is on there way in, must be a B__ch, but . . .that someone isn't me
"Enjoy

More time to play with cars is a very good thing
