WOW! You are lucky to still be around. They make more Vettes, they don't make more of you. Good luck with the recovery and hug you wife and kids at every opportunity!

Glad to see that you're going to be alright.

I had one experience on black ice myself. I'll never forget it. I just got lucky that I had a longer distance to scrub off some speed as I was doing 70mph at the time.

I banged up the Jeep pretty good cosmetically, but it was still drive able.

Time for a C6

Be careful with the pain meds bro...they can get more addicting than the vette...

I was shot years ago in the marine corps in the ankle and...like ten surgeries later...it was like percocet were m and m's!!

Ibuprofen is my best friend now and of course, tylenol extra strength arthritis!

Biggest and MOST important thing is that you are ok and the car can and will be replaced...hard to replace you brother!

Take care and we all will be praying for you!

God Bless you brother!

You'll heal in time. Just be thankful you are able to still post.

Glad you are OK. Looks and sounds nasty. Sorry about what you are going thru but you have a great attitude and that means you will be successful in recovering and getting another vette. Good luck, it will just take some time but hang in there.

Yup, that is what is crazy. For all the spirited driving, high speed driving events and drag racing at Etown, who would have thought.

I think the frame being as strong as it is, saved my life. Not sure if same hit in my Infiniti would have been so good. Probably the scariest experience of my life. I hate the closed MRI machine so much that I had to be under anaesthesia for many hours just to go over my entire body. I still have not slept much due to pain since the accident. In time I will be fine though.

Glad to be alive, but this is the first time in 22 years without a Corvette, gonna bother me come July!
