I finished up my install this afternoon and the car is finally back on the ground..Before starting up I plugged my Predator programmer in and turned off the rear 02's..The car started up fine and had absolutely no leaks at all..In fact it was almost quieter around the engine compartment then the stockers..As with any new systems it smoked like a chimney for a little while and eventually stopped..
I took the car out and you can really tell a difference in the sound accelerating out and once at cruise has no drone and is fairly quiet even without the cats...Once back home I checked all my work and everything looks great ...
I'm throughly pleased with the OBX system..I think the quality and workmanship of the header build is as good as any I've seen in my days of building cars..Everything bolted up without having to beat anything into place and other then having to drill a 1" hole in the tunnel plate for the drivers side 02 sensor clearance I didn't have any problems with the install...
I did have to buy 2 24" front 02 sensor extensions and did buy 2 rear 24" extensions but only had to use one for the drivers side ,the passenger side reached barely...
I didn't use the supplied manifold gaskets because I still had a set of factory gaskets left over from my race car and used those instead...
Dyno numbers don't mean POO to me because basically I put them on for better looks and for the much improved sound it has already given me...

Would I recommend these to anyone ABSOLUTELY
Any way to take and post a picture of hole you drilled in the tunnel plate with the 02 in place? Something I would like to see.

getting LONG TUBE HEADERS for purely cosmetic look is that what shortys are for
u will need to tune it sooner or later or your car will run lean
Well they are on , I did not have any issues during install ! Very pleased with the headers as a whole ! I would do it again as I have no regrets on my purchase !
not true at all. I have a wide band in my car and it runs at 14.7 AFR w/ long tubes.
Thanks T_Vert for answering that for me..Plus if I had installed a set of shorty's on the car I would have had a half dozen people tell me I wasted my money and should have installed long tubes...

Look at the bend. It's a compound bend and there's no other way to do it.
I ordered a set a week ago and will be happy once they arrive so I can put them on.
I have installed a couple other brands such as TPIS, and another brand can't remember off hand, and really never had much of an issue with any of them. I hope and believe that these will work just as well.
If the thread is still going by then I will post the results but it looks like its a smooth install by what some others have been saying.

Have a good weekend everyone.
If you dont mind I would appreciate some feedback in my group buy post as well.
Thanks and looking forward to seeing your review
I'm really close on pulling the trigger on these, but something keeps nagging at me...if something seems too good to be true, it usually isn't. I know we've established that these are the same material as the expensive brands, but how about the thickness? The other thing is how do guarantees compare between these and say the LG's. I know Borla has a million mile guarantee on some of their stuff, and since the LG Pro's are made by Borla....
Anybody had OBX's on their car for any length of time? How are they holding up? Any problems?
The other things that have me debating whether I want headers at all is I keep hearing about how hard headers are to keep tight and leak free, and how they add a lot of heat to the engine compartment. Anybody having these issues?
I don't really need the added power, as I hardly ever use the power I have now, but sure wouldn't mind getting even better sound from my GHL Bullets, and also, headers are just so dang sexy looking!
