Well my other thread wasn't generating too much response. And I have been at it all eveninge but, for the life of me CANNOT figure out how to get the effing part off. Not really concerned about the animal as I know it can go for several weeks even months without food or water but, at the same time can't really cart around anyone knowing it could just show up and scare the hell out of my passenger and lead to a catastrophe. So with that said, can anyone help me figure out how to get the speaker panel off behind the driver's seat? Pretty please. I really don't want to have to pay a shop for this

Hope thats not for real
Check the other post and let me know if that solves the problem
It's very real. I am not scared nor worried about it as I am secure around it but due to a negligent mistake on my part while handling it outside and trying to clean the car, the last I see of it was it's last 1/6 of the body going inside the speaker panel. Fun times.
I pulled the retainer out of the speaker and unscrewed three of the four bolts but couldn't get to the top one due to how it is positioned. I released the retainers from the outside door and the two interior top parts of the panel itself but can't pull the whole thing off cause the seat belt shoulder thing is in there and I can't figure out how to remove it.

Umm how'd you get a python in there in the first place? I'd get a mouse and toss it in the back, he'll come out and get it. I've had every panel off except those. Should just pop off like the rest I'd assume. I see you've tried the pulling thing. If it's a big snake I'd take the other panel off just behind the speaker. There's room back there to hide a snake.

I considered getting a mouse too but I do not have a partition to keep it from getting into the passenger area. I suppose I could toss one back there, grab a lawn chair and some beers and see what happens LOL.
I have removed mine out of my vert but not sure if the coupes are different. The verts just pop out and are held in with those retaining clips like the windshield pillars.
Well Alex, you take the prize for the most unusual post I've ever seen on the Forum
Hope you catch it soon. I posted the procedure up in the other post. Let me know if you want the whole thing with pics
I'm hoping to get my first Corvette related trophy not LOL.

The more parts you remove, the further she'll back up into a place where you can't get to her. Trying to yank her out when she is wrapped around stuff will only hurt her. I'd put a big bowl of water in the rear hatch and be very patient.
I've owned snakes for almost 20 years, and have helped remove dead ones from up under dash boards. It's not fun. I used to let my Ball Python hang from the rear view mirror so I could keep an eye on her. Later, a Burmese I had was just too big to be transported without being in a pet carrier. Same with my current Red Tail Boa. Get yourself a pet transporter, something usually used for cats or small dogs. It really is the responsible thing to do. Best of luck getting her out without hurting her.
Alex man!!!! You have got to get a picture of you pulling that thing out! Truely an unbelievable thing. Hope you get it out soon man, you don't want that thing to lay eggs if it is a female. They will go months without budging or eating once they lay their eggs.
You are going to have to nickname your car now. I mean come on...things like this don't just happen without a reason lol. So with that hmmmmm....
