I finally had a dream come true today and picked up a 2001 Yellow beauty today. She only has 9500 miles on her!

Here are my questions:

1. How much do you think she is worth. It is not the Z06, but does have a bunch of options and retailed for 49000 (I have the original sticker). Just curious.

2. I alway see the lettering on the front plate cover painted in another color. How or where can I get that?

Congrats and welcome to the club. Well IMO it's worth what you pay for it As far as the plate lettering it might be decals, I would check the auction site unless a vendor here has them.

Welcome to the Forum, great bunch of people here.
I don't think there's any Q's that can't be answered here.
A forum bylaw mandates pictures though

Congratulations!! I can't really answer your first question, but I can your second.

The "painted" lettering you see are actually inserts that stick on -- they come in a variety of colors, including carbon fiber and real polished stainless steel. I have the SS ones. Lots of vendors on here sell them. I got mine from Corvettes of Houston.

Good luck!

Congratulations & welcome. I am also a new Corvette owner of four weeks. You will find this forum to be very hospitable and informative. The veterans here are very willing to help and they have more knowledge than you can believe.

Welcome to the group of Corvette owners!!! Is this your first? Pictures are always good. Value of the car...if you think about it, anything less then the original sticker would be good for a vett with that low of miles.

Few things you might want to check, has it had the stearing lock recall done? Expect the drivers side diff cover and the axle seal on the same side to start leaking at some point. If the fluids haven't been changed in a while you might want to change them all.

Have you check for for codes?
