Default Automatic shifter ****
What choices are there for A4 *****? I always see the manual ones but rarely see A4's. Does anyone have decent looking ones? Just interested in what the interior will look like with improved *****.

You can get a stock one with different colors or some of the vendors have some machined ones, I had a machined one for a week and sold it fast, It got so darn hot I could hardly touch it. So now I have a stock one in Torch Red to match my interior.

im looking into getting a C6 A6 shifter

Go to UPR WEBSITE. They have some nice A4 shift *****. Chrome and Brushed. I've got one of each. I like the chrome better.

Wait, there's heat issue with these aftermarket *****? Or just the one you had?

All the metal ones will transfer the heat... They get really hot. The heat will come right up the shifter to the ****. Can you say ouch?

A few friends and I have the carbon fiber shift ****. The only neg. is that the car now can go in gear without pressing the brake.

Yea, UPRproducts.com. They mostly have Mustang parts but carry a few Corvette parts. Just click on search and put Corvette in. They are $ 19.99 each.

I haven't noticed a problem with the heat of the shift ****. I can't tell any difference than the stock one.

You don't find these hot to the touch after you been driving awhile?
I had the carbon version and it was way too hot for me.

You can have any C5 MN6 shifter **** if you install the adapter:

Just drove mine a few minutes ago. I haven't noticed any issue with the **** being hot. I guess if i parked it outside it might get hot, but mine is always in the garage.

After getting in the car after it was sitting in the sun for a few hours and the heat from driving it is really bad, It sounds like you just got yours, If so just wait, it will happen....lol

You can always get an adaptor & put any manual shift **** on your A-4.
