Sorry to hear that. Take contact with paypal and get your money back. Order a new CLB from Corvettes of Dallas, great service, even if you live in Norway

I ordered a CLB on 8/31/09 from their web site. After reading some more about possible CLB problems and finding the pull hard right while you turn the key on works I emailed them to see if I could cancel the order. Sent that email to the info@adaptiveperformance.com and got no response. Looked at my PayPal invoice and saw they used a adaptiveperformance@earthlink.com email for that. I used that email to contact them on 9/2. NO RESPONSE!

I wish I would have paid better attention when I was ordering. I usually do not do business with any company that doesn't list a phone number and address on their web site but I saw people mention this company on here and figured it was okay.

I don't give a rat's behind if they ship it or not now. I'm going to file a dispute with PayPal just because they won't communicate. If it shows up I'll do a return to sender.

I do not want to hijack the thread but are the CLB's from Adaptive Performance good products?

I received mine a couple of weeks ago and still have not installed it. I still wonder whether their products are reliable.

UPDATE: I received my hyper flash fix bypass today. I placed the order on July 14.
UPDATE: I ordered a column lock bypass from them on the 30 of August. No part and no communication from them. I would not recommend ordering anything from this company.

The part I ordered was top notch. Installed and working well. It's just frustrating trying to deal with a supplier that won't communicate.

A similar tale of woe. I ordered a Hyperflash fix from Adaptive Performance on Sept 4 and also sent follow up messages that I have received no response from. Today Sept 17th still no part and no response. I'm cancelling with paypal and will find another source.
Totally unprofessional behavior from this business.

They take a few weeks to ship. I don't have any connection with them, but from experience it takes a bit. I just received something from them last week.

I didn't receive any delivery confirmation, but I really don't care about all of that.

They will come through just not fast.

I appreciate the response Jhonathan. However a few weeks is not what Adaptive Performance advertises on their web site. They plainly state same day shipping if ordered by 3pm Pacific time or next day if after 3pm. Even allowing for holidays and non business days this is not as advertised. I understand that stock gets depleted and some times suppliers are late with deliveries. But I sent two followup messages two find out what the delay was and both were ignored. So I may pay more to someone else for what I need, but customer service is also part of a professional business transaction.

I ordered from them as well. They were slow, but just when I started to worry, it came in the mail. They will not respond to you and will not provide tracking info. I guess be patient and don't order if you are in a hurry. CLB is installed and working great.

Today, the hyper flash fix harness I ordered from Adaptive Performance arrived. It seems well constructed. If my request for information about the delay had been responded to I wouldn't have posted initially. However, I am satisfied now.

Mine has been in for a year now and about 8,000 miles,,driven almost every day with many start ups. Going just fine as is the skip shift eliminator. Products work well,,and when I ordered mine got quick service!! No idea what is up with them now! Other friends in the past did well with them too. Must be some internal or personnel shortage problem going on. Maybe with the economic times ,they might have had to let help go and are trying to operate with a skeleton crew. They should explain the situation to customers though!!

I think that their CLB is of good quality and appears to be much smaller than the others. I have had no problems so far. Yes, I did receive instructions from them but I recommend going to the following link. It has a lot more detail.

I order a hyperflash harness on 9/20. I tried cancelling the order in the days after I place the order.

Adaptive WILL NOT acknowledge my request to cancel the order. I tried via email and phone.

Their web sites states "next day shipping". That didnt happen either.

going the Paypal dispute route.

Based on Customer service alone....I would not recommend this vendor.
