[Z06] The Ultimate Question...
had a yellow c5 vert and loved it
love my flashy ao vert, but they dropped it.
black is a second job but makes a vette look mean
red is very common but sporty(but even ferrari offers other colors)
white with a red interior works...stands out but in more subdued way than in your face yellow
silver/grey more elegant(most elegant porsche color too)
so what so want? look mean, elegant, sporty,in your face,or just take the best deal... win-win

What I'm looking for is (in order of importance):
1) Solid mechanical order (all service done, preventative etc, paperwork in order)
2) Average miles (looking for 30-60K)
3) Any mods (bolt-ons, SC, etc)
4) Cosmetic condition
5) Color combination
Since I'm in no hurry to purchase the vehicle, I can find the exact one that I want (or as close to it as I can get), and I appreciate everybody's feedback. I can't park the vehicle in a garage (and sometimes I might not even be able to park it under a cover). I take the best care of my cars that I can, but I work full-time and have to tackle school, a girlfriend, the gym, and my addiction (to dodgeball).
I also have a hard time believing I wouldn't be an absolute cop magnet (it IS a ZO6, after all). Coming from an E36 M3, this is definitely a step UP in almost every department (except the interior).
So far, here's my thought process:
Yellow: With the right wheels, really pops and looks incredible. Never been partial to yellow, but it would work on this car.
Red: Would have to have black wheels and two-tone interior.
Black: Would have to have black wheels with a chrome lip. Black interior
White: Black wheels. Would love this; just wish they offered it in a year besides '01.
Silver: With black wheels and a chrome lip, or with a nice set of alloy wheels. I LOVE HRE C97 wheels on the yellow and silver C5Z's.
EB: Definitely with alloy or black wheels. Stunning at night with the right lighting
Lime green: Special paint job. I'd totally rock it with banana-colored wheels.....
Maybe not that last one

On a totally unrelated note... is there anyone who lives in the bay area that would be willing to let me take a ride in their car? I'd love to see what they're capable of. I'll even buy lunch
