Last weekend I did the CLB.
Swore I did it correctly.
Good advice on the board made me paranoid and I went back and checked my work Sunday morning.
Sure enough, I plugged it in to the K harness end.
Heck when I was in there, I didn't even notice the K harness the first time.
I was more jacked up reading the instructions for the install (and worried I might f up and lock the steering wheel) then using some common sense, slowing down and watching what I was doing.
Buddy of mine had to replace the carb on his old 409. He did a great job pulling all the parts and pieces, replaced the carb, hooked everything back up and overall did a great job.
That is until he picked up the air filter housing to put it back on and noticed the new gasket for the carb laying on top of it.
Well it all worked out , I might put the leds back in the footwells and the hatch and see what happens, but not tonight.Everything is back where it should be and working fine so I am happy. The knot on my hand didn't get to big either. I dont mind the mishap, hell I still like working on the vette, its fun. Gaarage time is always good time. brain farts for me just get more and more frequent but life is good!
