**Same thing for me, price was the most attractive thing of my '99 silver on gray. Wish it came w/black interior though.

Default C5 color choice

I liked the C5's looks from the first time I saw one, except for that hideous rear end. Why the stylists couldn't have broken up that huge vertical "wall" with a horizontal crease, bumper ledge, or something, I don't know. Don't like the center exhausts either. Anyway, I liked the looks of the rest of the coupe so much that I had to buy one. Loved that wine-red metallic but got a black car to minimize the visibility of that awful rear. Funny--either I'm getting old or there is something about the C5's black paint that makes it difficult to keep clean. I've had black cars in the past but they were nothing like the hassle the C5 is. My black C5's paint is also strange in that fine scratches seem to appear out of nowhere but I can't buff those scratches out with any compound I have. Oh, well--still a great car, and one in black looks so good going down the road.

Ill sum this up. I think no matter what the color is, i think all c5 colors are sweet. If its a
C5, and you put a nice set of wheels on it, it will look good. Hell, even if you looked at it with no wheels and tires no matter what color, they look good......Thanks what i think.

Im a HUGE fan of black....When I was ready to buy a triple black C5 convertible to match my other black rides in November of 2002 I settled on silver because the dealership made me such a great deal on it (leftover new 2002)...I drove the car for 5 years, put 60K miles on it...sold it, turned right around and bought a triple black 99...It only took five years, but I finally got my triple black C5 convertible ....Plus, I sold the 02 for $10K more than I bought the 99 for, so that $10K made a nice downpayment on a black C6Z!!....Besides, my N-CROWD print looks a lot better with nuttin' but black

The "old" N-CROWD...

The "revised" N-CROWD...

Favorite color is also EB,,and originally wife stated,,nothing in the silver to gray family as we have a light silver F-150 super crew,,a liquid gray DD and the kid had a silver Saturn!! What do we find but a really good deal on a 2000 PEWTER FRC!! Local, well equipped,,and significantly lower miles than what I'd been finding!! Well it didn't take long to fall in love with it!! Turns out to be a very easy color to live with when you drive it a lot,,,which I/we do!!!

I chose mine beacause it was the only one selling within a 200 mile radious, and I drove it, and I fell in love with it, so the next day it was all mines.

My favorite color is also EB and since I bought it new that's what I got. Sorry they discontinued that color. Was considering a C6 but don't like any of the colors.

No color other than the Medium Spiral Gray Metallic would work for me. IMO it was the sharpest looking color on a vette, so that's what I had to have.

had no choice on this one (or for that matter now that i think of it the last one too, lol) i have a 78 pace car, obviously not paint choice, lol, also have (and wanted to buy at the time) an 04 CE 6 spd vert, once again, not choice of colors, LMAO!!

owned a 63 split window in silver (it seemed back then they were ALL silver)

a bronze (don't remember the exact color name) 350/350 69 4 spd vert bought because i wanted a vert after selling the 63 and the price was right

a torch red 93 vert (all vettes are red, aren't they???, LMAO!!) always thought that you should own a red vette at least once in your lifetime.

wish i still had them all, but only have the 78 and 04 at this time.

My first VETTE was BLACK and I love a clean BLACK! Biatch to keep clean though.

My first choice would be EB, because I think it is just the most attractive color on our cars.

Look forward to hearing/reading your response.

My first vette was white (a 93 arctic white). Then, I saw a used car at a dealer. It was EB. End of story, cause now that is the color of the vette I own now. Yes, I bought it.

First of all, I established a pattern that I felt compelled to follow. I have owned...

1975 - Blue
1984 - Silver
1995 - White
2004 - Blue (current)
2015 - Silver (future purchase obviously)

The other reason is that I did not want any black in the interior because of the heat. It had to be either a 50th anniversary, or the CE. Since the CE fit the pattern, it became mine. Not to mention the condition and mileage.

Don't get me wrong, I love colors, but to me there was something classy about silver, and the price and condition were beyond perfect, so I fell in love with it after one drive. Plus it is one of the easiest colors to maintain IMO.

Mine is Machine Silver, but was open to gray, red, & blue. I was probably a little more concerned about the interior color, since I was not interested in black. I finally found a silver one with a torch red interior.

I was looking for anything but yellow... ended up with a 2002 MY M6 and couldn't be happier.

Yellow looks good even when dirty so I love it. Plus it's just exciting... I see a pewter or silver vette which is what I wanted and they just seem boring in comparison now. Wife loves yellow, loves taking the top off, I wanted silver FRC/Z06... what can I say she won and I'm not very disappointed! Love my car every day!

I only looked at red vettes. That's the color I wanted and the color I bought.
All Corvettes are red, the rest are mistakes.

I always know what I want and will not spend my money any other way, I won't settle. My C5 HAD to be a Nassau Blue FRC. I went 1/2 way across the US to buy mine.
