like everyone else in this thread has said, only 15 were made, my dad's friend has one and we've been to the guy who runs rarevettes.com's house where he had 2 of his 3 at the time. It is a great color to see in person. (almost as great as Fairway green)

Thanks for the link! Interesting information! It was a shame that they couldn't make it work for the 50th Anniversary. We all wondered why the dark Anniversary Red and not gold.. Now we know!

actually the gold paint was so poor quality that most of the body panels did not match each other.

SO the gold paint was slightly different from car to car. Heck even front to back of the same car.

But they still look cool
