Get the 04 to come down another $500 - use the 01 as a bargaining chip - If ur looking for a loan the 01 will be hard to get a good rate on.

If it's a cash deal get the 04 down another grand. Shouldn't be a problem.

If it were me I'd go with the '04......the newer the better. The few extra miles don't mean much. Good luck whatever you decide.

Hard to say what deal is better...about the same I think.
Impossible to say which car is better.
I can only give MO and you didn't ask for that.
IMO, buy the 01. Less miles (about a year's worth for me) and you will have some cash to play with for some mods. Torch will be easier to keep as well. Black is great when clean no doubt, but that lasts about 10 minutes!
I must say, this is a great prob to have! Enjoy!

Looks like the '01 is tad high. I just bought my '04 last month for $20K w/37K miles.

Black one looks to be a bit better deal assuming further negotiation won't widen the price spread. I think an extra $3500 for three years newer, and very similar miles, is worth paying. You can do a search and find differences between '01 and '04 which are very minor. HP and torque were increased in 2001 and remained the same thru 2004.

But if you plan on putting a lot of miles on the car you might think twice about a black one...they show everything...

Good luck -- you probably can't lose

They seem like pretty much the same deal.

Get the color you like better if that's the case...

I'd go with the 04. It's newer and best of all, it's black.

The '04 also has brand new Toyo tires with 400 miles at the tune of $1200.00
