Did you get any codes when you fired her up the first time? Wondering about the O2 sensor issues? Thanks for the awsome pictures. Makes me want to do this even more than before.........Dave

That stuff is easy to do and the lift makes it safe and faster. Shoot me a PM when you're ready and we'll set up a mod day.

I have not received any codes at all yet. I've started it up 3 or 4 times; the 2nd time it ran 20 minutes and the oil came up to temp. I had my computer tuned beforehand for those headers so maybe that's part of the reason. We're doing good so far!

I have to admit I found this job quite intimidating before I began; but since my car is stuck in the garage until April anyway, knowing I had months to correct or solve any issues was a great help. Then halfway through, when we ran into the issues, I'll admit I even felt a twinge of "what the hell have I done?!?" So, we took a break... saw Avatar in 3D at the cinema; called it a night. Next morning we were back at it and in good spirits. Now, my only worry is, "what if I didn't REALLY get all the wires away from the header? What if I burst into flames going down the highway next summer?"

Now I feel comfortable doing this on my own.

Great to hear that! Just wait 'til you get that puppy out on the road - the difference is very satisfying.

Not too horribly expensive. Since I went with the LG Streets vs. the Pro's, I ended up paying 1199 for the headers and the cats. I think the Pro's are something like 600 more. Then the tunnel plate was 199; then the plugs and wires were maybe 100 total. LGM graciously charged only $80 to ship all that up to me in Alaska.

Can you post some pictures of how the exhaust hangs underneath the car? Not jacked up, or from the install, just the car is parked and how it hangs. Thanks!
