Thinking about selling my 02 Z06 for a c3 with a modern engine and tranny. Does anybody know where I can find a C3 with an LSX engine?

I'd try C3 For sale Section on this forum if I were looking.

Have you ridden in a 70's car before? Make sure you do before you decide to sacrifice all the creature comforts of a modern C5.

A modern engine and tranny does not equal creature comforts!
That being said...I love my 68!
Not sure why the color looks like it varies in these pix. It's hugger (monaco) orange.

I had Bilsteins, VBP coil and fiberglass leaf spings, polyurethane bushings, etc, etc and while the handling was superior to that of a stock 68, it was not nearly as good as my C5, but that's to be expected.
Liz,
I sold my medium blue metallic 68 to a guy who lives in Pearland - small world!

The real problem with the C3 was the rear trailing arm design. I loved my 69' vert but they are tough to live with.

I will agree, the C5 will be much more comfortable, but always enjoy seeing a nice C3 on the road.....go for it dude !

Driven hundreds of Sharks.... they are a raw animal.
My favorite was an original black '69 427 tri-power with factory sidepipes. Sold it for $65k
Drive in a couple to get a feel... those things are death traps. I wouldn't drive very fast around corners.

If you can't find one in places like AutoTrader, E-bay, or publications like Corvette Trader, you could always buy a C3 and swap in the modern stuff.
