Okay, maybe I'm cold hearted, but I sense Darwin at work. I'm just glad she didn't crash into someone walking or another car resulting in killing someone else.
Driving fast on city streets is so stupid. Okay, a shame she got killed. RIP. Still..............

I wish the Mods would start an Obit thread for this stuff-why do we (in general) care about this stuff-people die in all kind of cars everyday-fact of life The Angels are too much
The story originally said it happened in Lake Forest whereas its since been update that it happened in Laguna Hills and it says that the passenger was the prospective buyer so the woman killed was either the seller or a dealership sales person. Still, a very good reminder that these cars can get away from you if you aren't careful. True shame all the way around.

Come on, did anyone force you to click onto the thread and make you read it?, I mean, really . . .
that car hit hard. notice the pass. door has been forced open as has the drivers door, darn near ripped off. The front wheel, drivers side is ripped off and if you look closely, the car seems to almost be bent. Yes, the air bag is deployed, but that looks like a t-bone or side impact to me,airbag worthless in that scene. This was a test drive, bet the passenger was an unfortunate saleman.I am Thinking pehaps she froze at the wheel when it went out of control...there are NO skid marks I can see.
You guys should read some of the bloggers comments after the OC Registers article. Some folks just like putting Corvettes down Link posted by Dave above. Also, would a dealer (if this wasn't a private party) actually sell an after market/modded boosted car? I know ZR1's are boosted but that's a factory set up.
