This happened about an hour ago in Laguna Hills, Calif.

wow this is terrible. The car doesn't even look all that damaged. Usually when I see these vette fatalities the car is almost unrecognizable...

I'm a little puzzled also it didn't look bad and I'm sure the airbag went off but you never know how ones body is being flung around in a crash.

You hit a pole sideways at speed your head keeps going, breaks glass, and hits the pole too... doesn't take much to kill in that scenario eventhough the car looks intact and teh A-pilar airbag is deployed.

maybe she hit the drivers side door into the tree/pole. Airbags wont help much that way.
