I agree THE SEATS IN THE CAR IS CRAPY, i HAVE A 99 FRC AND TALK ABOUT A PILE OF JUNK WHEN IT COMES TO THE SEATS. i LIKE TO KNOW i HAVE WANTED TO PUT THE CARBOUE SEAT S IN MY CAR WHAT DOES IT TAKE AND HOW MUCH$$$$$$
Wow, that looks great, and I was just going to order new skins and have someone re-do the stock seats. One question, I had Recardo's in my 280ZX years ago, they held me in place and I did love them. I did notice that short trips were fine, but long trips, the foam was firmer and I had pressure point issues. What about these seats on long 3 hour trips?? Have you had any issues?? I know race seats and what their designed for, is comfort for longer trips part of it?? Again I just love looking at those pic's, like it was made for the vette.... thanks

I personally think they feel better as the Corvette seats are too soft and non-supportive for my tastes.

Considering I can get these seats for the same price as some new leathers for my beat up stock sport seats, I think I may need to pick some up!
Yup... these seats are about the same price as getting your old seats recovered AND you can still sell your old seats for some money.. about $200-300 which would reduce how much you spent on your seats!

Guys:
My observations on me fitting into the seat
Corbeau says that only up to a 36" waist will fit in the standard seat. Don't worry if your a little bigger. I fit like a glove !
I am:
1.) 6ft
2.) 210lbs
3.) Waist 38" around
4.) Chest 41" around
5.) Shoulders 48" around
- I would say that I could be a little bigger in the shoulders and still be ok.
- I think a tiny bit bigger in the chest would be ok also.
- I think being much bigger around in the waist would be an issue.
I fit in the lower seat back quite snug. I gotta lay off the soda... Off to have a Fudgesicle. Its warm out today, and I'll start my diet tomorrow.
I'm very glad your happy with the seats! Most people NEVER really think of seats as a "Performance Mod" but it really is because it allows the driver to really focus on "Driving" the car instead of fighting the car.
We've never had a customer who's bought a set be disappointed... glad you didn't break that streak!
would you be able to pm a price for a set for my Z please?
I just picked up a set from mike thanks again! I cant wait to cut up some turns with these, i find myself slamming into the door when i take hard turns lol. Ill also let you guys know how i fit i am 6ft3, 220lbs, 38inch waist

Do you keep the electronic box and wiring harness from the stock seat to make things happy? Does the seat belt recepticle bolt onto the new rail?
1.) Do you keep the electronic box and wiring harness from the stock seat to make things happy?
I did not install the electronics module. You lose the telescoping wheel and memory mirrors without it connected.... I don't have telescopic steering wheel in my Z06, and I'm the only one that drives my car so memory does not matter to me. I plan to hold onto my module even if I sell my stock seats though. I have NO issues with the module out of the car.
2.) Does the seat belt recepticle bolt onto the new rail?
Yes it mounts to the Corbeau rails. You also don't need to plug in the drivers seat belt. Chevrolet wired the seat belt electronics sensor such that if its unplugged you NEVER receive a seat belt warning.
