Im about to order 2 sets of brackets. So if I want my DRIVER side to have the slider, I need to order the slider on my PASSENGER side bracket correct? Because they need to be swapped?

The brackets will include sliders on both brackets. Driver side is for driver and passenger is for passenger. Only if you are installing reclining seats do you have to put the passenger on the driver side and vice versa.
Toque - the revival of this thread provides me with an opportunity to say THANK YOU for all of the posts and pics on the subject of the A4s. I got a pair around 6 months ago, and it's the best thing I have done to any car. Your posts helped me make that decision and I couldn't be happier. Much appreciation for your time, and effort.

Thanks ! and your welcome !
I'm glad I did not steer you wrong !
My wife has an Evo IX and the seats in that car are amazing, I hate the stock C5 seats and will eventually change them. I wish they made something that matched the red interior a bit better. Like a two tone black/red, mostly black.
Corbeau does make some two tone seats that are pretty nice. Just visit there website they have quite a few nice products at a very resonable price. Once I do get myslef a corvette i plan on atleast getting an fx1 pro for my driver seat i like the fixed back.

If your sitting in the car, the seat will slide back just as easy as any other seat.
They get a tiny bit stiff moving them all the way back (if your trying to move the seat all the way back from outside the car). The C5 seat belt re-tractor area at the base touches the seat a little when the seat is all the way back.
Toque, thanks for the info. Yea I just wanted to make sure the driver seat moves well forward and back in case someone else has to drive the car.
I really like these seats and I am thinking about getting them.

If your thinking about getting a set of Corbeau A4s please let me know as we sold them to Toque and many other members on CF
Just installed my microsuede A4s yesterday. A couple thoughts:
I bought the dual locking sliders with Corvette mounts. It would have taken me hours of fiddling around with the seats to come up with the design and adapters. Instead, the stock seats were out, seat belt buckles swapped, and new seats installed in around 30min. The seats are extremely tight, there's not much room for error in any direction. It's easy to look at a few pieces of bent steel strap and say "I coulda built that" but it's a whole lot harder to design and build and have everything come out right...
The only gripe I have about the mounts is they put the seat belt buckle too high. I am a thin guy, but the latch is up around the height of my belt buckle, so it doesn't provide much downward support. I suspect the mount has to be built this way to clear the tunnel, so I will probably end up shortening the latch risers.
I ordered the seats shortened, but when I got everything adjusted I still sit taller in the car than I did before based on how I had to adjust the mirrors. I haven't put a helmet on yet, but I suspect I'll have to move the seat forward and recline more than I normally would for my head to clear (I'm 6'5").
The seatback angle adjuster is indeed very difficult to get to. I see the need for the straps mentioned earlier in this thread.
As previously mentioned, the seats are pretty sticky on the slides. They move okay when you're siting in the seat but are very difficult to move without getting into the car.
The microsuede look is awesome. I personally think it looks better than leather. Plus it's super grippy.
It sounds silly, but everyone else is right. Good seats really make the car handle better.
