I wanted to run the wides, but I am still looking at options. There are a few really good seats out there, but there is also a lot of garbage. My *** is picky
I was looking at these:
I can't decide, but I am rebuilding the driver seat this weekend regardless.

I actually have this brand in my other car. I have the full leather version. They support my big *** (not at the point where I get out of the car and it says "THANK YOU") so they're Did a drive from DC to Daytona back in March. No comfort issues at all.

I'm not as big as I used to be, but I am 6'4" and about 225 with a 36" waist. The full leather looked like a different seat (the harness holes and adjustments).
There is a tuner shop here that has a few knock off seats, but they don't look or feel as good as the Corbeau or Bride. Here's a pic from the craigslist add.

There is a set of S2000 seats on CL, too. But blue leather, no thanks.
Do the A4s work well on the track. It would be great to have a DD seat instead of changing them back and forth all the time....
They are adequate on the track. At the end of the day they are a sport seat not a race seat. If I had a full time track car I would not have A4s. However, I have a street car that sees the track occasionally and for that the A4s are perfect.
Note, I was running 3 point belts as well, if you ran a harness + A4 I'm sure it'd be plenty for even a pretty high level driver.
By chance is it possible to get the black leather A4s with red stitching. I'm sold on these seats due to this thread, just read from start to finish. Be ordering this week, thought maybe in the past two years they ought have the red stitch option
That's too bad, one of our employees here was looking for an inexpensive seat option for track days. Time to give Mike@TPS a ring for some Corbeau's I suppose

We used to sell a brand called Cipher Auto and their cheaper seats were REAL cheap and would not last more than a year. We had alot of issues with the reclining mechanism which is a safety issue. We stopped selling them.

The ONLY reclining seat that will fit the C5 is the Corbeau A4... no other seat is a direct bolt in that will fit easily.

As much as I love the look of those Cobra knockoffs and some of the Cipher seats look nice, I just looked and a set of A4's with heat is still under $1000. I would rather spend a grand now and be happy than a few hundred a couple times until I found something that works.

The Cipher seats won't fit a C5 any ways... they are too wide.
