WOW awsome , i too know the pain of losing a vette, mine cought fire and was totaled. so happy everything worked out she is indeed awsome again. but you were very lucky could have been worse, now go drive her
Glad all went well! Dont be too fast to sign off on future medical issues.. They have a way of popping up months later.. (I have a bad left hip from a T-Bone hit in 1985 that still gives me fits).. The car looks GREAT!
I spent a whole day going over it... you know--getting rid of the tiniest bits of polish, etc., in the body seams, door jambs and so forth...
Only found a couple things that need attention: 1) I'm going to replace my taillights on the driver's side--the old ones look darker than the new ones on the psgr. side... 2) a couple of spots where there are a few craters in the clear-coat (buff out)... 3) the high mount brake lamp needs to be replaced (the old one was put back in, but it's loose... 4) one license plate lamp is still broken (tab broke off--need new one)... and a few other small details...
But the most important thing: the paint matches perfectly!! And it runs just fine....
Sorry for he damage but the most important thing is that you're OK. Before you know it, the repair and accident will be behind you. Sometimes others are not "so lucky".
Good luck with the repairs.
