I had to work hard and long for this car. It's been 21 years between my first and current vette. I like to keep it covered in the garage and if I get depressed or feel bad about something in life, I go to the garage, uncover my vette and just stare for several minutes. It works like a charge of happiness to my heart. If I feel like driving it then I drive it, if it's dusty I clean it (I don't let it get dirty). If I find a new mod I like, I'll mod it. It's mine by da-- and I'll do what I ------- want with it. Just like the rest of y'all. Happy trails as Roy Rogers said!

I've got 182,000 miles on my C4 (1996) ....still drives great.

WOOOIE!! Lots of touchy people on both sides here!! I must admit I subscribe to the "I waited a LOOONG time to get one,,,and I get out and drive it a LOT" philosophy !! O do keep her pretty clean and shiny,,and I do pretty much all my own work on it. Ive done everything from car displays, road trips to test and tune night at the strip!! That's how I enjoy it !! BUT,,,,I was a young up when the the line "different strokes for different folks" was new!! and that has proven to be a very appropriate adage to follow!! I do not completely understand the garage queen ideology,,but i understand that there are folks enjoy having a prized possessions. Examples,,the art world and antiques. They will invest fortunes just to HAVE a valuable piece or painting and it just sits there or hangs there. I guess some enjoy just having a Corvette!! There is room for all in the Corvette world,,and NO ONE needs to get their feelings hurt OR get their hackles up!! ENJOY IT YOUR WAY!! hey,,that might make a good burger commercial!!:c heers:
