People buy these cars, then just let them sit in their garage ? Why bother even buying to begin with, if you are not going to actually enjoy it...my c5 has over 160,000 miles on it, and i thoroughly enjoy beating the **** out of it on a regular basis, isn't this why chevy made these cars with 345-over 400 h.p. ? seriously, whats with the 2000 model C5's etc. with only 10-15k miles on them, lol never did get that..
lets see some pics of your beast with 160k miles! I drive my car daily and I only put around 11k miles on it each year... before i got the car it averaged 3k miles a year for 9 years.... in san diego!!! Bought a garage queen!
My dealer told me to drive the hell out of it because I was losing money as I left the parking lot for the first time.
They do not want to have to take the cover off, clean the car and put the cover back on.
It is one of 4 vehicles in the garage, and its the cheapest one.
What makes you think we don't enjoy cars sitting in the garage? Like said, you should shutup and be glad we do, so you can buy a low miles perfect car when the price gets down to where you can afford it.

Well i would say it might be like having your money sit in a bank account it may not be earning much of a return but it sure feels good knowing it's there! another reason i would think would be the cost from everything like 20,000 mile tires to everything that goes wrong with them...as for me i can not get out of it i need to drive it every day....its like needing to eat!

My 2001 Coupe is very special to me. I worked hard to get this and take the utmost care of it. I enjoy looking at it in the garage and I drive it on the weekends. Where I work it would get filthy everyday. I try to keep it detailed for local cruise ins and car shows. It's got 11,350 miles on it now. I plan to keep my Corvette for a long time.
I want them to keep them in garage and maintain them until I get ready to buy the next one I like. They are like surrogate mothers, they bear the initial costs of purchase, maintaining, and value drop. GOD BLESS THEM!!!!!
Then you and I come along and get the great low mileage cars for a song and drive the snot out of them!!!! GOD BLESS THEM!!!
Several reasons I'm sure... BUT I appreciate these owners immensely because I buy my Vettes from them!
