No-No do NOT drive in the rain.

What this means that I an buy your almost new Vette in a few years for 1/3 of the price that you paid to keep it prestine in your garage as an ornament.

So keep it out of that rain and don't rack up any miles.

A quick look at the hood liner is the best explanation I can give you.
It can sit out in the rain for days & never be wet. Drive it down the highway 1 mile in the rain, then open the hood and take a look.
nothing a good detail can't get rid of.

My 04 z had 812 miles on it when I took it home. The owner who took more pride in keeping it clean and in the garage than on the road(no prob, different strokes for different folks!) even advised me to pick a different day to take the car home that rain was in the forecast! LOL, I still remember saying "Ralph, if it snows tonight, that car is coming home!" There was a bit of silence on the other end.....and of course it did rain on my way home from past Boston to CT...but you know what? Driving a nearly new '04 car home in late August of '05 was such an awesome ride home!! Not long enough honestly!! I'll never forget that night.

They make polish, soap and water to clean the car after it's in the rain! Drive it and enjoy it. Life is short.

I don't drive the vette in the rain. If I had to, I would but so far I have not had to.
I really enjoy just owning the vette, driving the vette when I want is even better.
Like some have already said, "It's my vette and I'll drive when I want to."
