No possible way. I have one of each. The ZR1 is a wonderful pain in the a$$. But nobody works on them and parts have to come in the mail from a few vendors who have you over a fire.
Anyway, the Z06 is better in every way except the seat.
It is no wonder that the ZR1 has never become another mid-year.

While the ZR-1 is an incredible machine, I'd be worried about (1) parts availability and (2) someone to work on it. So for me at least, I'd have to pass on trading my C5 for a C4 ZR-1.
I love the C4 and personally I think it looks better than the C5. If the right ZR1 wanted to do a trade on my C5 with low miles I would do it.... The ZR1 is an awsome car most of the people here want to bash the C4.... Most of you never have owned one... The C4 feels like a true sports car... There is nothing better than working on your motor seating on the front tires....

with most of this I have a 2000 that I owned for going on 8 years now which is a awesome car and I would not trade for anything, I'll just give it some company ... BUT when we looking for a car for my wife(ended up with a 96 with only 14k on it) we test drove a zr1 and the c4 does feel more like a sport car, I know alot of you will say no thats every bump in the road that I'm feeling, but I do like the way the c4 makes you feel like you have more control of the car.
I wouldn't trade for one, but would add it as part of a collection.
The C4 ZR1 has the best looking Corvette engine ever, IMO. It's hard to work on, expensive to keep, and the performance is modest now but it still can draw a crowd at a car show. The C4 ZR1, to most people looks almost identical to any other C4, until you open the hood...that's the only real appeal it has to me.
