If the dollars are the over riding factor pay to have it really gone over by a qualified mechanic and then make up your mind.
Right off the miles would say NO to me. I'm not comparing them to a track car with 30,000 just saying that many miles almost guarantee repairs are in your immediate future. Good Luck.
Thanks to everyone that suggested that I wait. Today on craigslist I found a 2000 with 35K miles listing for 17K.
I went to go check it out and it looks brand new. Paint is flawless, Black on tan. interior has one scuff on the kickpanel. It was raining like crazy right before I went to go look at it and every interior seal was bone dry. Carfax shows no wrecks or damage. No rattling in the clutch like I have heard some do. I pick it up later on today. The only problem I could find with it was the drivers window squeaked on the way up and down. They are fixing that right now so I take delivery later on today. Clutch fluid is dark but I have been reading here what a pain changing that out can be.
Someone please point me in the right direction on new clutch fluid. It seems to me that most people just empty the master and refill a few times.
I would have them change it if you think it's an issue. But i'll look around and see what I can find for you.
I would pass on it. I paid $17k for a 99 Coupe that has all the options that one has except the Magnesium wheels and active handling. Mine only had 38,000 miles on it when I bought it and still looks brand new.
IMHO, you can pay a little more and get one with fewer miles.
I'd take a pass on this Corvette based on the 115K miles and it's about $3K too much for my opinion !
I just purchased a '00 coupe 2 wks ago with 23,000 mi, fully loaded auto with a B&B exhaust, Blackwing after market air filter, dual tops, one owner for $19,000 plus t/l. The car was garaged and looked brand new....so far, love'n it.
Like others have posted, I stopped looking at ads after I purchased mine because I didn't want to second guess myself. The car ran and looked perfect to me so I went for it. They originally were asking $24,995.

Thanks for the advice, check my most recent thread on the one I ended up with. Much better deal than the original one I was looking at.
