My girlfriend tells everyone I'm "retarded"! Retired now over 11 yrs. (66 now). Bought my first vette when I was 21. Second when I was 27. I got this one in '04. Had a few other car in between.
Never really did get out of my first childhood. Oh... I am NOT bald!
67 - Far from bald, not considering retiring, bought my 1st. corvette in 2009 and my second in 2010. (my second lady and gent) Looking for the later to dyno at 600+
Live by a very simple creed: Today was great but not as good as tomorrow and can't wait to see what the day after will be like. Have an incredible and supportive spouse and kids who encourage me every day.
By the way - was given 6 months to live 11 years ago and have never looked back. Get up every day excited and always looking to kick some ****. WHAT'S AGE GOT TO DO WITH IT?
It's ATTOTUDE stupid! Hope all of you get to experience and fully enjoy it!

Retired IT exec at 60. That was 4 years ago. Still have my gray hair and LeMans Blue Convt, third C5. I have grandchildren. It's ok to get old. Beat cancer. Life is ok.
68, retired (sort 0f), overweight, bald, and enjoying life. Through the years the wife of 42 years and I have had many sports cars - 57 Vette, 58 and 60 Jag XK 150, 1933 MG J2 roadster, 1972 Pantera, and 1991 Vette. We now have a 2000 BMW M roadster, 1974 Pantera and 2002 Z06.
I am told that Corvettes are for old bald retired guys looking for a second childhood. I happen to be retired and bald but I'm not looking for a second childhood....I never grew out of my first childhood. So I guess I'm a two out of three guy. What say the rest of you guys. Do you fit the profile?
I am like you retired at 52 bald but pretty and I am still waiting
for my 2nd childhood. This is NOT my first vette!!!!
Retired, no, but I'd like to be.
Old, everything is relavent, I'm 55. When I was 20 55 sure sounded old.
Fat, nope, weigh less now than when I was 20
Bald, nope, although it thinned a bit in my 30s
I'd have to say, most "car guys" that I know are over 40
