1/3. Retired 4 months ago at 60. I was told by someone that I respected that: "just because you act childish that doesn't mean you're a kid anymore." I am looking forward to my second childhood!

We're getting closer as the clock ticks. I have one foot out the door and if they pizz me off enough the other foot will be out the door too. Not bald and this is not a second childhood either. It has always been a lifle long goal and I worked my AZZ off to get there.

Turning 60 next month.
Partially bald.
No intention of ever retiring (just would like to be in a position to if I HAD to). But then again, I have worked out of my home for over 30 years and have slept until noon 99% of those days! Usually never worked more than 15-20 hours a week most of those years.

Not fat or bald but retired..retired when I was 48 from LEO. Had my first vette in '64 (new) but didn't drive it until '66.
Second childhood? never got out of my first. Grew up with vettes (had 8) & muscle cars. Can't see driving a Honda Civic just because I'm a little older. Note to the younger guys: You'll be here somday.

I'm 54 going on 34....at least thats how I feel when I drive my Vettes.
I still have a full head of salt and pepper and have 2-3 yrs. before I can get rid of my alarm clock.

I’m retired. The way I see it age is just a number and I don't dwell on it….sure, I’m bald but that doesn’t impact my life. I’ve loved Vettes since I was 14 years old. Got my C5 about 6 years ago and I’m still smiling.

Old? Yep, I'll be 70 in two days.
Retired? Yep, for 15 years.
Bald? Not quite, but working on it.
Second childhood? No, did that 30 years ago. Just bought my 8th Vette, Guess I'm on my 9th childhood.

Retired at 39 from Air Force. Got my first Vette 9 months later and WILL have one from now on. I do have a full head of hair too in fact the wife wants me to get it cut off but I am in my shaggy stage, also could stand to lose a few pounds too. Turning 40 on the 29th of this month.

Ya know my wife just made a good point. It seems the stereotype is true based on this thread but there is more to it she says. Not untill you get to your 50's and the kids are gone does it become practical to own a 2 seat car. The younger guys who own them usually have no kids or are using them as a chick magnets. How many got out of them when kids came around? How many guys had them back in the day and now the kids are gone getting back into them?

Packing a few extra pounds,,,not really fat though as I have them spread out over a 6'2" frame!! I am retired,,and am "follicle challenged",,,but still am in my first childhood!!! My wife of 34+ years is STILL waiting for me to grow up!! Got my firs vet about 15 years ago(still have it) and got my FRC 3 years ago the 19th of this month!!Between my project house,,tinkering on my cars and relatives cars,,and relatives and friends calling for help on this or that,,,I think I'm on the go more,, and have less free time than when I was working!! I DO make time for golf at least once a week anytime the temp is much over 35*!! Loving every minute of it though!!! Waiting for the wife to retire(2 more school years after this one,,married a YOUNGER gal) so we can hit the road more often in the FRC!!!

I'm 35... Still haven't grown up.... I have a solar panel on the back of my head ... Will retire in 22 years... I have two kids ages 4 and 3 and wouldn't give up the Vette for anything in the world... My kids love the car so why would I sell it? They don't fit on the Harley either ... We have a minivan that is practical.
