Very clean! Looks like you use that stuff on your rotors too.
My Rotors are older than the CCW wheels. I have never polished the rotors, the pads do that. Car is 11 years old, Rotors are nine years old, Wheels are eight years old. This photo was not taken when this stuff was New. They have many many thousands of miles on them in that photo, about 60,000 miles and about 6 years of summers and winters

Talked to CCW yesterday. They sent me some literature recommending an acid treatment on the wheels. I am going to remove the tires, treat and polish the wheels and off to clear powder coating they go. I'll post results in 2-3 weeks.
I went totally black on the wheels on my dd - for esthetic as much as for minimal maintenance reasons. Only way I know these are dirty is when the rest of the car is.

Nice Mini ! I got a VW GTI Turbo.... these little car's sure are fun to drive daily !
The cheap Bluemagic metal polishing cream i can get at p-boys,zone etc. seems to work and last the best, and i have tried many different products.....
Good luck
Blue Magic hands down the best if your a sucker for ANY non clear coated polished alum. wheel . My 1980 vette wheels were the FN worst to keep nice . Won't buy any wheel that takes that kind of maintenance ! Blue Magic is the best for SS too...

I went half-way with my 2-day per week driver's wheels. Only the face is polished (and clear-coated) The inside is all black:
Keep in mind that powdercoating, while fairly glossy, will never gleam like chrome or finely-polished aluminum. Still, it is a heck of alot easier to keep clean.
I can't believe ( unless I missed it) that no one mentioned REJEX to coat their CCW's. I clean/polish them in the Spring and give them 2-3 coats of REJEX and they look great for the following year. The difference between the maintenance required on a "raw" vs a REJEX coated wheel is night and day. Try it, you'll like it
I was hoping someone would say this because I have a ton of this stuff!
CCW sent me tubes of rejex with the brand new wheels. With all the wheels John does and he puts rejex in the intial set up , rejex it is...............
Adam's metal polish just now came. I have been driving in the rain all day. If its nice tomorrow I will be putting this stuff to the test. Must be the newest polish they have. It doesn't say #1 or 2 on the bottle.

Really.... there web site still shows a bottle with #1 on it.
Can you take a pic of the bottle you got ?
I asked my wife for some new stuff for xmas. She got me the small bottle by mistake and it says Metal Polish #1 on it....
Maybe its a good thing she got me the small bottle. Maybe I should email them and ask if I got the old formula.
I wanted to try the new forumla this spring. I have been using the old formula on my CCW's for 3+ years now and love the stuff !

Toque
I took a fast pic with my phone.
This stuff does pretty good. Better than mothers and meguires like I was using. It still doesn't remove the water spots on the inside of the spokes. Not sure how I am going to get those out.
Overall I like using this stuff. Its better and easier to use that pastes.
