I have thought about this. I would most likely modify a stock hood if I attempted it.

Id probably build off a Rksport high rise. But Id want to make it reli different some how. So in that case,Id take Quik Z06's new hood (the ZR2)and make an open like the C5R and not those crappy replicas either lol.

Pics coming soon!!

Ok Picture Time!!!!!! haha

This is to show mistakes that Im in the process of fixing.

Airbag area...hard to get right. It probably would have turned out better If I did this section with the dash upright.

This is the Center vent/Hazard switch area. For some reason it sunk in a tad.

Pieces of fiberglass had air pockets so I cut it out fr a retry

Idk if you guys have noticed yet but Im deleting the little "handle" on the pass. side and it sunk in just a tad.

Last night around 2am I went out cause I cannot stay away from this haha I wanna work on it so bad haha. I did a "test" to see how it this would work. I took all the powder'd fiberglass and mixed it with the resin to thickin it and add some strength.

I put a little more resin on part of the top to cover some holes that showed up thru sanding

and the glove box...

Now I gotta go back out and sand more haha. I havnt sanded evverything down yet(mainly the area closest to the windshield) but Ill keep you all updated. Enjoy!

Nice to see some fiberglass in progress!
I bet you have itchiness all over the body after sanding..

You didn´t do anything wrong i guess, with Jelly its almost impossible to not get airbubbles, you need to have resin.

Tip of the day:
Get one of thoose aluminium rollers and you get rid of all air!
