I wonder if breathing fiberglass dust does this
From the looks of that piece, there is a weeks work and it still will not look like a dash. I am thinking giving it up. But it is good you are trying to do the work on the car.
You'd be suprised of what only like half a day of work did. Ill post pics when I get time
Cant see it but I am glad if you can from what I am looking at on this. Will be nice to see the end of the job. But really glad to see you working and looking at doing it yourself man. Pic,s

I'm thinking that he will be buying a new stock dash before too long. It seems to me he should know more about the process he is attempting, before he started it. Example would be not wearing a filtering mask. I also question the wisdom of disabling the passenger side air bag and installing a rock hard dash. I think that his ambition is good, but the final results won't be.

First, I have got to say this exact post will do nothing but fuel my ambition for the great look Thank you
I knew to wear a mask, and that may not be why haha I just thought it would be funny to share my "comical" question lol
As for disabling the pass. airbag, Im sure you know a Z06 has a switch to shut the airbag off? it would make no sense for me to do this and retain the airbag WITHOUT sacrificing looks to accomodate it.
I know I wont please every owner(especially purists) but hey to each his own and being unique right?
But seriously Thanks again for posting this. It really does help

Ok here's the Center vent in the process of being fixed, I re-glassed it instead of fixing that dip.
You guys remember those pockets I cut out of the pass. airbag area? Then I put another layer of resin to smooth it out. Well this is the beginning but its sanded and starting to come together
I have this left to fix but tomorrow I have alot of time(work at 4pm)
