You're going to have to find a rattle can that closely matches your color. I didn't powdercoat mine "matte black" instead it was: see below

http://www.nicindustries.com/prismatic_powders.php
UMB 1204 STERLING BLACK
Flat dull black with a fine gold metallic finish

It turned out really good and the metallic is barely noticeable....It's nice I'll say that.
As for the centers I was left with the same problem you are facing. What I ended up doing was spraying the centers with Krylon RTA 9203 Semi Flat Black spray paint that I got at the local Auto Zone. I happened to have it laying around and it turned out good enough.

Did you sand them down first or just spray over the grey?

speedyhawk...nice wide man! Love what you have done. Wish I had the C5Z wheels again. I like my C6Z wheels, but I really love the C5Z wheels.

Jake it's been a couple of years ago so honestly I can't rememeber. I'm certain scuffing the center cap with a 150 or so paper wouldn't hurt.

Love this setup. Best thing, looking as good as it does, it is one of the lowest cost big brake conversions to make on a C5. It's is probably the way I'm gonna go with my MY C5Z Hope you don't mind my copying. Those are the back wheels on the front right? Did you have them altered in any way? Narrowed, or change the or offset or anything? Do they hang out from the fender? Sorry for the barrage of questions.

I plan on powdercoating mine as well when I get home at the end of May. I didn't even think about the center caps. I went ahead and bought red and black lug nuts. I just wanted to see what the red ones would look like on there. How much are you paying per wheel for the powdercoating? I haven't even gotten any quotes yet.

Here is a rattle can job I did on my center caps recently. This was satin black to pair with the gunmetal wheels.

Mike at http://www.thepowdercoater.com/ took care of everything. I told him what I wanted and the man made it happen for a reasonable price.

He's cheaper if you disassemble the calipers before sending them.

Update:

My car is at the body shop with the wheels off and at the powder coaters. I am having the paint detailed and some gs stripes added during the down time. They are also painting the caps which is nice cuz they can match them much better than i would be able to with a rattle can. In the mean time here are some teaser pics of the tires and brakes since they just came in.

295/30/18 and 305/35/18! I didn't order the 2 piece rotors with my brake kit. But after feeling how heavy the factory rotors are, I might have to upgrade down the road.

I have my current wheels (oem speedline rears all around) sprayed with plasti-dip which has a matte black finish, I love the look and I can take it off if I get tired of it. Oh and I am jealous of you guys with the C6Z brakes!!!
