Toyo proxes r888's. This will be my first experience with them but I've only heard good things so far.

The only thing that really held me back was the install (and justifying the price). How much cutting had to be done?

I was under the impression that there were some clearance issues with those rotors.

ummm well on the front I did a little grinding with a high speed and blue pad. They were stripped anyway and were going to powdercoat once I knew they cleared better.

They DO clear without the grinding but I just wanted a little extra room. I felt a little better knowing there was an EXTRA 0.060" between the spoke and the caliper.

What is your front tire size?

How much are you lowered?

Car looks great. Makes me wish I went black.

Slight thread jack but still on topic...

For those on this thread who have gone with a C6Z brake conversion on your C5Z or are considering going this route, is it pretty much a direct swap out with our C5Z setup or will I need to purchase other parts (i.e. brackets/brake lines...) besides the obvious (calipers/rotors/pads)? I keep hearing something in these discussions something about the C6 caliper pins.

Please help a brother out. I just got some new TSW wheels (19/20 setup) and my stock calipers look completely lost inside these wheels. Thus my C5Z is crying out for new calipers...It's rather silly I know.
