Corsa = Exotic car sound and absolutely no drone whatsoever
Borla = Muscle car sound, plus the possibility of drone, the degree of which is subjective
I get that drone is experienced differently driver per driver. But I'm just imagining the guy who drives for eight hours to Carlisle, and on his return, his wife says, "Well?"
... and he replies, "I HATE them."

Reason: syntax
I have run both. I put a set of Borlas on my stock 01 and really enjoyed them and yes there was some drone but it was tolerable. After I put a set of AR long tubes on the drone was unbearable. Sounded like a trombone player in the cabin. I sold the Borlas and installed a set of Corsa Indy pace car and the drone was gone. I am now running a Novi Blower installed by ECS with 500 rwhp/484 rwtq and there is still no drone from the Corsas. I am very happy with the Corsas especially with my current setup. The quality is outstanding and the vette screams when I stand on it.

Yep it all depends on what you like. I like mine loud.
Borla stingers I had and loved. They were loud and sounded really good. I had people driving behind me give me compliments (after we stopped). Never tried them with headers.
I ran Corsa pace car with headers. Way too tame for me. They did sound good at WOT though
I now run B&B bullets with headers and they are loud. I like it
Corsa Pace Car with X-pipe on my 2004. I love the sound, and disagree it does not sound like a muscle car. The OEM setup does not sound like a muscle car, but the Corsa is pure music to the ear. I agree with going with the 4 tip system.
corsa extremes on my car with 1 7/8 arh longtubes. hit the gas women scream and little kids cry.
I agree. The "Corsa sounds exotic, Borla sounds muscle" statement doesn't apply to the Corsa Extremes. They are pure muscle, pure terror, pure heart-pounding adrenaline. Especially if you have cam, long tubes and x-pipe. I can't imagine anything sounding more muscle than that setup (which I have).
OMG.....Why did I read this thread. Every time I think I have made up my mind as to what to replace my stock with, this happens. OMG, why did I read this thread..........
Want my opinion, read up and purchase stock in hearing aid companies, plenty will need them as they get older.. Drone is not cool when you are yelling just to make conversation to your passenger (who is right next to you). I got a Flowmaster with very low drone, it's there at around 1800 rpm, but not as bad as a Borla. I did my homework and made that decision based on my time in my vette 90% fun and 10% pushing it, I want to keep my hearing when I'm 60... Anyway, have fun (with or withou the drone), I do, and yes I too like the sound of a good V8 while driving, I'd rather the other outside my ride enjoy it more than inside... Enjoy the ride..
I live 15 min from corsa head quarters so most vette owners in my area go with them. I have a borla setup on my 99 and i get alot of corsa owners complimenting the sound of my car. Borla puts out a deeper sound and better rumble at idle. In all reality there both top notch exhaust but i prefer borla
I have Corsa Touring and they sound good at WOT with no drone ever.I prob should have gone with the Pace Cars for more sound........anyone wanna trade??? LOL

Thank You.

Chuck
I have pretty much the same setup as Chuck except I went with the Corsa Touring exhaust. A little more quiet at normal driving except when you're at WOT then it's music to my ears.
