13,500 for an '02 with 75k is a really good deal, not to mention the fact that you know most of the car's history as well. It does have the crappy gears, but that is not the end of the world. As others have stated, that can be addressed by upgrading to 3.15's or 3.42's and/or a stall and tune. Millenium yellow is a great color too. If you're still on the fence about whether or not to wait and save up for a Z06, just think of all the mods you could do for the 6-7k price difference of a comparable used Z06.

Fact: The new Mustang 5.0's run 12.8's @112 mph bone stock and WILL beat a stock C5 any day (obviously excluding a Z06.) But at the end of the day, the cool factor of a Vette totally trumps a Mustang. Being low to the ground, the seating position, the look and feel of the Vette is leaps and bounds ahead of the Mustang.

Oh yeah, and LS1's and LS6's are 346 c.i.

My old lady, Well young to most of you here lol has a mustang GT vert with flowmasters, 3:73gears, high flow intake, throttle body spacer and a few more bolt ons and that thing is a pig. She bought it cause she loved her 65 stang and thought that this one would rekindle her love for her old car. She HATES it. She wont touch the vette even though she is more than able too. But once my 2 vehicle notes are paid off in 3 years shes taking the c5 and I am buying a Yellow Ferrari. My minds made up.

Let me just say this. Once you drive the vette you wont look back
