The last time, and I mean the last time I used a valet, the DF valet forgot to put the car in gear and also forgot to put the parking brake on so as I was walking into the resturant I saw my car (not the vet) rolling backward towards a very steep hill...It took a few stiff drinks (on the house) before I could enjoy my dinner!!!
I would rather walk a mile before I ever use a valet!

The value of the cars they may park at a place makes absolutly zero difference in whether it would be "fun" to slide around a bit with my beat up old C5 
I mean, c'mon, if it was the type of thing you were going to do, what better car to do it in?
I dont go to many places that require valet and the few times I did I parked it myself and kept the key. They didnt mind a bit and they still got the tip
