Default Valet Parking

We're going out to a nice restaurant tonight but you have to use valet parking. No one but me has been behind the wheel of my 01.

Is it just me or does this make anyone else nervous?

It is just a car, Granted a nice car. I am sure they have driven cars that are much more than a Vette, I use them all the time with no issues.

Just you.

Use valet son, hoes dig it. If your in FL, valets' have been behind the wheel of much more expensive cars.

we went to a wedding in Conn. last year. I pulled up in the vette and the girl that was one of the "valet" parkers came over. I just said I would like to park it myself....she directed me to the 1st spot in the front and I handed her $10.00.

You mean there is no other parking available close by? Gotta be a spot nearby to park yourself. I would try to find one.

I always have visions of the movie "Police Academy" when he puts the TA on two wheels and jams it between two cars!! Went to a wedding last week with valet parking and had to turn around and use the lower lot when I told them I would park myself.

I used valet at a hotel recently with no issue other than when they brought my car when I left they had popped the hood and not closed it all the way.

I pulled up to the valet parking at The Trump Tal Majal in Atlantic City,NJ for a really nice weekend with the wife and I was told they can't valet park my car because it was a "stick shift" but they let me park it in the valet area for free....

Valet all the time here in Vegas. I've seen cars 10x more expensive in the valet area.

nevernevernevernevernevernever let a valet get his/her hands on your Vette...my buddy valeted at Foxwoods in CT and told me horror stories...you definitely do not want to take a nice car to such a place and have a valet park it for you unless you tip him AHEAD of the parking and again after...
