Sad it was hit,,but accidents do happen,otherwise they are called intentional! Glad she was a stand up person and paid up,,congrats on your good fortune in that aspect!Damage looks superficial,should be fine.Hope the fix turns out great!!

Wait, you stated the wheel was already damaged and not by her. How come your claiming that too on the repair quote? She was honest with you by leaving a note and calling, I think you should do the same, especially that its being settled out of her own pocket

I said it had a little bit of curb rash already. Nowhere did I say it wasn't damaged by her. Read twice, post once.

Car is in the shop. Paying extra out of my own pocket to have a pair of hot rod black hash marks put on the fender, since it has to be repainted anyways. Gonna do it over the clear so that it remains more matte. After looking at it Ill decide if I want to do my own red pen stripe on the edges of the hashes.

DONT DO IT!!!! make them out of vinyl so they can be removed if you get sick of them or you sell it and buyer doesnt like them he can remove

They are done on top of the clear coat. Easy to sand off if I dont like them.

Got it back. They are a little more forward then the traditional stripes, but I like it. May take it back and have him move them back a little more.
