My issue came in the form of the windows not staying closed after hitting the lock button three times.
It was a now and again type problem, not all the time.
I called the WV guys and was told that it is sometimes an issue with the window seals drying out and causing a higher friction load on the window motors, which the WV interprets as the windows being all the way up, or hitting the limits.
It was suggested that I simply re-install the WV, no need to unplug it. I did that and it's worked fine ever since.

I had an issue with my WV about a year or so ago. It would not function properly. I returned it to the manufacturer and they replaced it free of charge, even though my unit was about 7 years old. Great service!
