It's mostly fiberglass work and hidden by carpeting. If you can wield a wrench, tape measure and aren't afraid of glass work and are a hands on guy,you should be able to pull it off.

I'm in the progress of finishing my tub job on my coupe. Really straight forward job... Just do plenty of research before starting.. There are plenty of DIY threads on general and tech.. The LPE kit is a nice kit. It comes with everything you need , but is a little expensive $900ish IMO.

It isn't that hard. I did use parts of the LPE kit. The fiberglass extensions did not fit my coupe quite like I wanted them to so I modified them and it came out nice. The nice thing about the LPE kit is the inner fender liners. When the job is done it looks like it came that way. If you search I posted pictures.
It is worth it if you want to run wide tires and don't want flared fenders.
For comparable cost you may want to consider the
2" fender flares. You don't have to actually modify the car and it looks great. Also, gives you a wider stance and helps with oversteer. I am currently doing this mod. It has been really fun and easy.
Thank you!!! I love them too. Ther are similiar to the CCW, They are Fikse FM10. As part of this mode I added an inch to the outer lip making them 11.5" and will be running a 335 30 18.
As stated the wheels are 3 piece. You take them apart from the inside by removing the bolts. I had a 2" lip. I purchased a 3" lip. I put them back together with some silicone to seal them and prevent rust. I then rotated the 2" lip to the front making those 10.5". Overall pretty easy and enjoyable. The hardest part was cleaning the extra silicone.
