It really don't matter what we think, You are the one that has to drive it and look at it, Not us.
Now with that said, I love my torch red interior...
Mr.Bill
I think Mod-Red looks awesome on a Torch Red Zo6, looks almost as good on a Black Zo6, kinda okay on a Quick/Machine Silver Z, not so hot on an Electron Blue, flat out hideous on Millenium Yellow (Ronald McDonald car) and even though I don't like it much on the '01 Speedway white... it's so rare that it doesn't matter.
My Red Zo6 has solid black, sometimes I'm glad it does, sometimes not. No big deal, life goes on.

Resale vlaue...your kidding right?
Mod red C5 Z06's usually carry a premium as they are rare and highly sought!
Don't like the red...well you will find a long line of guys willing to swap their black pieces and CASH for your red pieces........
Quit screwing around and go buy--it won't last long....
Wow that is beautiful! I just bought a 2002 Torch Red convertible and I really want the interior to look just like yours! Do you still have your 98 coupe?
TR with Mod Interior was the only car I was looking for. Agree 100% this will be a sought after option in years to come.
To me the black is too plain....not that it doesn't look good, just it adds something to the cars interior appearence to have the red.
Seats do wear. Lots of the bolster wear you see on corvettes comes from people flopping down in these cars. Freaking cringe everytime someone wants to sit in my car. Be easy getting in, and easy getting out trying to avoid contact with these side bolsters, and you will have little to no wear on them 100k later. Take this from someone who has owned many vettes.

Too much red will be a bad decision, IMO. Try and have a balance of red with whatever other color you might have. My C5 is black with red accents. I like it.
Red Interiors come at a premium cost, ask anyone who bought one. I've seen only a few(rarity) and those that I have seen for sale added thousands to the price. Then again I've seen the few on this forum that have cost the owners thousands to have done. It's a matter of taste. Not for some, that's why there is always black, but red is highly sought after.
Corvettes with red interiors command more money to take home.
