I hate to be the person who says this but Corvettes are not exotic no matter what you think. I hope your not defining who you are because of the cars you have. If that's the case it is really sad. I use to be the same way.. I lost one race dropped 30k into the motor. What does it really prove? It showed me that modifying a car does not bring me the returns I thought it would. My car my be boring to you.. I would say my corvette new was 1/30th of what my house is worth. So I guys some of us wants a nicer home than to have a car with a lot of modifications.
I own a 2 story house on 5 acres - 2 vettes - 6 custom Harleys - big block catamaran boat - new custom painted truck - dirt bikes - 4-wheelers - all paid in full .... SO ?? [Do you define who you are because of your house?] ... you may have spent too much on IT !
And sorry - but vettes ARE exotic - just AMERICAN MADE

I totally agree...... the fact that everything is done after the fact does not help the value on this car... The vin will show up a normal C5... Just because the car has callaway parts does not make it go up in value because it can now hang with a C6 Z06... If he wants to keep it for his own enjoyment great.. I hope he enjoys it... If he wants to sell it for what he thinks it is worth he will be holding it for some time... 1 out of 5 with 60k on it...

Besides - Chevrolet has had more races won by their small block than any other vehicle in history - why change perfection !!
Eg: #3 Dale Earnhart sr. ... My C-6 will SMOKE my cousins Lamborghini he paid $475,000.00 for too - now thats exotic in my book !!
If you dont think so ,maybe you should trade your vette in on a Cavalier.

to "doje" - I thought they did the rear bumper on all of them too ,but apparently the guy wanted the stock bumper ??? I wouldnt hold anything against a car for not having a simple imprint in the rear bumper. Im sure you wont either.

I just love it when someone gets on here and brags about all their toys and how much money they cost and they are all paid for, but not one pictures is posted. I have a C5 and it is not exotic. Now a 1999 C5 Callaway that is 1 of 5 maybe rare, but exotic, I don't think so.
