Default Seat Mount Fired Extinguisher - Driver or Passenger Side?

I was able to obtain a very nice, near new Safecraft fire extinguisher. I just ordered a Brey Krause seat mount and was curious if mounting it on the drivers side presents any issues?

Since the seat mount restricts the forward movement I thought it would be better to mount on the drivers side since I am pretty much the only driver and the seat never needs to be adjusted. I'm just wondering if it gets in the way, etc. Hoping for some real world experience/feedback.

Here's a pic of mine. I mounted mine on the driver's side as my passenger side seat is manual and the bar was in the way. I have no problem at all with it being in the way. I made my own bracket and have since painted the extinguisher black to blend in with the carpet.

Thanks. No problem knocking it when getting in or getting out of the car?

I have mine on the passenger side, but I may move it to drivers side so its easier to get to.
