Wash every week wax every 2-3 months clean air filter when it looks bad.clean crap from behi.d radiator every cpl months.dont do my oil anymore.to the shop for the rest.and i like to hug it at least once a month.
I never done my own work on cars but would like to do some minor maintenance to my car every once in awhile. Plus, good maintenance keeps the Vette going strong.
So I'm asking everyone, what do you do daily, weekly, or monthly to your Vette?
Thanks,
Jack
I'd find a good shop is my best advice since you've never done your own maintenance. Assuming you're mechanically inclined, it's one thing to tackle your first fluid, brake, spark plug change on your average car, but it's a totally different ball game when taking to those tasks on a vette.
If you do decide to tackle something, do lots of searching on the subject on this forum. You'll often find an answer to your question a lot faster rather then just posting and waiting for a reply.

Okay....I'll bite...Other than properly raising and supporting the car, what is so different about changing fluids, brakes, and spark plugs on a Vette?
Change my own oil, changed water pump, new MAF plug, new lock, alarm and window relays, new metal end links, led update on doors, hud and dic. WOO-HOOO
Never did any of this kind of work on a vehicle until i got my vette ! Now I spend a lot of time cleaning, polishing and whatever I can do to maintain it. My wife is glad I have a hobby that keeps me out oh her hair lol !

Lol hints the reason I want to learn as much as possible so I have something to do, instead of bugging her. Nice to see someone else around Dallas area.
I've changed oil and clutch fluid; I've replaced shocks; I can top off washer fluid pretty well; I change brake pads. I don't try anything which will take me more than one long afternoon to take apart and put back together.
