[Z06] Bought myself a deployment gift.
STILL waiting on my Corbeau seats. That is a fiasco with Assaultech that I'm not gonna go into. They should be here in the next couple days I believe. Had to go back to DC to take care of work related stuff, so I figured why not put my wheels on. And that's what I've been doing this evening.
My Golf looks huge next to the Vette. And something I didn't expect....I don't really feel like driving my GTI now. It just feels sloppy or something...Feels like a toy or something? Hard to explain. BUT I'm not worried, I don't mind driving the Vette.

Cleaned the gunk and grease off from mounting the tires.

Crappy cell phone pic.....ALL I SEE IS WHEEL GAP....

I am happy with the looks, minus the obnoxious 4x4. I have the lowering kit in the trunk along with the shocks. I'll be driving it back to Ohio again in the next day or so, and when I get there, that's when I'll lower it and put the shocks on. I also bought a new stereo for it, but am still researching the installation and debating on waiting til I get a system for it. All I got to say though, is I'm really loving this car. May DD it for a while, hahahaha

Rears

I haven't decided if I want to go much lower. Wheel gap is tolerable, even all around. Used to be able to easily fit my fist between tire and fender, now it's two or three fingers.

Fresh outta the box!

Who said Vette's ain't four seaters?

All put in.

After the first leather treatment. Shine has dulled back down some.

And lastly, I bought a filler plate, and man, I really think this was the perfect thing to make the rear pop. Subtle, yet I think it accents the exhaust very nicely.

Also, my motorcycle fairings are almost done....A friend is doing the work for me. All fairings are being painted, along with some repair work from my accident, and my helmet is being painted to match.

Also, I'm too cheap to pay for something I believe I can make myself, so I'm working on my own custom trunk partition and vette tray. We'll see how that goes.
