Hell yeah. Ordered Corbeau A4 seats today. I think that's it except probably getting rid of the stock sound system. May be okay for most, but crap to me, especially compared to my DD. Gotta admit, with the exhaust now around town, I don't really have the radio on too much anymore, hahahaha

Update.

STILL waiting on my Corbeau seats. That is a fiasco with Assaultech that I'm not gonna go into. They should be here in the next couple days I believe. Had to go back to DC to take care of work related stuff, so I figured why not put my wheels on. And that's what I've been doing this evening.

My Golf looks huge next to the Vette. And something I didn't expect....I don't really feel like driving my GTI now. It just feels sloppy or something...Feels like a toy or something? Hard to explain. BUT I'm not worried, I don't mind driving the Vette.

Cleaned the gunk and grease off from mounting the tires.

Crappy cell phone pic.....ALL I SEE IS WHEEL GAP....

I am happy with the looks, minus the obnoxious 4x4. I have the lowering kit in the trunk along with the shocks. I'll be driving it back to Ohio again in the next day or so, and when I get there, that's when I'll lower it and put the shocks on. I also bought a new stereo for it, but am still researching the installation and debating on waiting til I get a system for it. All I got to say though, is I'm really loving this car. May DD it for a while, hahahaha

Oh my God did my car ever look like that? Damn dude, you should hit the mud bogs! Lowered on stock bolts isn't bad, it kind of gives an even gap all around and on my car, it doesn't seem to have overlowered it. You choose the bolt that'll take the least amount of lowering, and match the others to it. Use a marker so you can count the turns and verify toe/camber afterward. The Z06 will ruin you on most all other cars, they're pretty much all crap in comparison.

Like I said, I already got Bilstein shocks and the Zip lowering kit. That's all going to go on sooooooooon.

Monolith are those tires a little shorter than stock? That might be exaggerating the look a bit if so.

Yeah, in order to keep the overall wheel diameter the same, I went with a little shorter sidewalls. I know it's exaggerating it, but it still drives me nuts, hahahaha. Spent my morning doing what I love.

I don't live on base. I got a house about a half hour from base or so. Vette will be in a storage unit acting as a garage while I'm not driving it. And as for pics, here's this one, but I've been busy with a few little things with the car.

4x4 status....

Fronts (Bilstein Sport Shocks and Zip Lowering Kit)

Rears

I haven't decided if I want to go much lower. Wheel gap is tolerable, even all around. Used to be able to easily fit my fist between tire and fender, now it's two or three fingers.

Fresh outta the box!

Who said Vette's ain't four seaters?

All put in.

After the first leather treatment. Shine has dulled back down some.

And lastly, I bought a filler plate, and man, I really think this was the perfect thing to make the rear pop. Subtle, yet I think it accents the exhaust very nicely.

Also, my motorcycle fairings are almost done....A friend is doing the work for me. All fairings are being painted, along with some repair work from my accident, and my helmet is being painted to match.

AAAAAND lastly, I got a new set of brakes on the way from TPS. Bought TPS Drilled/Slotted rotors, Stoptech Street pads, and SS lines. After that, I THINK I am done dumping money into the car. I did an oil change in it today, and my check engine light came on AGAIN, I figure it's the O2 sensor. It's came on two other times since I've gotten the car, and only thrown one code, P0171. Most people report P0174 getting thrown too, but mine hasn't. I already bought an O2 sensor (Wish I would've thrown it in when I was under there today). I'll clean the MAF sensor tomorrow and blow out the filter, and hopefully that will resolve the issue.

Also, I'm too cheap to pay for something I believe I can make myself, so I'm working on my own custom trunk partition and vette tray. We'll see how that goes.

I love the shifter. One of my favorite things about the car.
