Default Bought myself a deployment gift.

Well, I'm deployed right now, so I haven't gotten to actually see it, but I flew my buddy in from DC back to Ohio to pick this up yesterday. 02, 54k miles, stock except for a K&N intake. Had it checked out and it was good to go. I'm already looking at C6 Z06 wheels and B&B Catback exhaust. May throw some headers on too. All I have are the cell phone pics he sent me for now.

Next to my DD.

Haven't seen the car or even owned it for two days, and I already ordered a B&B Catback exhaust and MGW short shifter. Wheels and tires will be next.

And my buddy who picked it up sent me this: "I never did stomp on it the other day until I got back to dads road. Of course 1-3 is really tourqey, but what really gets me is you never lose that. You hit 4th and lay into it and it's just as tourqey as 1st. Its got power through 5th gear and 6th you just cruise. I bet anything that thing would do over 200 on the autobahn." (we were stationed in Germany together).

Then he said this "Then took Jason on a ride. 0-90. Let off.....no smiles, no laughs....just "holy f*ck", and his eyebrows raised"

He used to own an 01 Cobra, and his brother, Jason has a 1200hp MKIV Supra, but I guess they were impressed, hahahaha.

I can't WAIT to get back.

Thank you for your service Brother. Enjoy the sweet ride upon your safe return. Cut the stock antenna to 11 or 13 inches, remove the top antenna ball, trim the sharp end, and press fit the antenna ball. I did that on mine, took me about 30 minutes and look amazing. Cutting the antenna to 11 or 13 inches from the bottom of the screw part will not interfere with radio reception.

Hahaha, trust me, that antenna was one of the first things I saw that was gonna have to be taken care of. I may just shave it. I can't remember the last time I listened to the radio in my own car. Thanks though, and you better believe I'm looking forward to coming back. I bought some C6 Replicas today too, so hopefully they're back in stock by the time I get back and have already shipped.

The parts are starting to roll in! Wheels on the way, along with a short shifter.

Wheels shipped today! Well, the fronts at least, hahahaha. Rears are on back order. No biggie. Paid for and one less thing to worry about later. Bought an MGW Shifter/Box/Race **** the other day. Those should ship in a couple weeks. Just waiting on another batch to come in I guess.

So I just ordered Bilsten Sport shocks and a lowering kit from Zip-Corvettes. I think that should be it for now. Except tires later this week. THEN I'm done. Til this winter....

So thats B&B Bullets, C6 Z06 Replicas (Chrome, 19/18), MGW Short Shifter, Box and Race ****, Bilsten Sport Shocks, Zip Lowering Kit, and later this week, Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position tires in 305-30-19 rears, and 275-35-18 fronts. I should be good to go. When I get back, I can't wait to get working on this thing.

Trust me, window tint is a must. I know of a local shop back home that is good. Same place I had the tint done in my GTI.

Well, I just bought my tires. Went with Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position tires in 305-30-19 rears, and 275-35-18 fronts. Now all I gotta do is is wait for the stuff to start piling up at my buddies until I get back. I'm done spending money for now, hahahaha.
