Default Suspension Change

About amonth ago, I posted about changing my magnetic suspension on my 2004 vert to standard shocks. A couple of guys responded and recommended C-6 Z shocks and z51 sway bars. Thanks. If I buy them, I may not be able to return the parts. Will the c-6 parts fit? I'd hate to spend the money and have a problem with the parts.

Before you do this, what do you plan to do with your car? Any racing, and if so, what type? I was informed that going with the C6 Z06 shocks would be counterproductive in a car that is used for drag racing, which is why I've decided to go with Bilstein adjustable shocks to accompany my C6 Z51 sway bars.

To answer your question, yes, they will fit.

You bet the will fit. A nice upgrade to a base suspension car.

I changed my magnetic shocks to the Bilstein Sports last month. Also, don't forget to have your F55 deleted, or you will have a max speed of 80mph.

I am so glad I bought an FRC and don't have to worry about Active Handling and Magnetic Ride Control. The C6 stuff fits and it's great OP.

Don't forget to also order the C6 metal end links to replace your old plastic ones. You're going to love the difference in the way your car handles after you install everything.

I replaced my F45 (99 coupe) suspension a few months ago with 2012 Z06 shocks, Z51 sway bars and metal end links. Corners like a slot car now. VERY happy with this mod. You will be too.
