Nope, only way my grandmother would ride in my car years ago! She hated the wind in her hair!

I don't like riding with top down - windows up, but it's better than riding top up, at least to me. So here in the north where it's cold 11.5 months of the year - yeah I sometimes do it.

I don't care what others do........but you will NEVER see my top down with windows up. If conditions are such that the windows go up, the top does also.

I pretty much drive my vert top down/windows down 90% of the time.

When I take a long road trip or drive the expressway for a lengthy period of time, I will put the top and windows up, turn on the AC and enjoy my music.

I have never had the need to drive top down and windows up living in Florida, however I have seen other drivers do it. To each their own, I just think it looks sort of dumb on convertibles.

Dumb or not, that's the only way I drive my coupe at highway speeds with the top off (windows up) Too noisy and annoying above 60mph to talk and/or enjoy the ride. In two years I've had the top off a total of four times and the longest was probably 3 hours on a recent drive on the PCH. Shoulda got the Z/frc that was I was also lookin at.

It is nice to pop the top off on a warm evening in town, but then if you stop for a leisurely dinner then you think you should put it back on in the parking lot.

Doesn't bother me at all. If that's how they enjoy driving the car, then .

top down, windows up=dork. Sorry, but that's the way I see it. If it's too windy, noisy, whatever to keep the windows down, I put the top up.

In my previous car (s2000), I never had the windows up when the top was down. Just thinking about it is kind of weird. Plus, in San Diego, my top was always down and it was great

Most of the wind and noise comes from the back not the front. The wind restrictor helps reduce both.

The top is off of my coupe from the time I take it out of storage in the spring until I put it away for the winter in the fall. Personally, I've never liked the look of a convertible with the top down and the windows up. It seems to be a contradiction in terms to me. I saw a guy in an Audi convertible the other morning with the top down and all of the windows up. Kind of like wearing shorts and a winter coat on a beautiful summer day.

When the top is down, the windows are down. Always.

My C5's translucent targa stays on most of the time, but when I take my MX5 to work at 6:00 AM, the windows are up, PRHT top is down and the radio and heater are on. I really don't care what people think at 6:00 AM, anyway!

Some people never put the top up and just keep it in the garage so it is just less wear and tear on the top and mechanism to leave it down. Birds love it too when they leave it down all day at work.
