I knew a low rider once that did what a lot of the guys in his club did, illegally wire up a car battery to the body and handles.

Said he caught a guy once stuck to his car handle in the middle of the night screaming for help. I guess 57 chevys can handle the voltage ok, but I wonder about the neighborhood cats.

Plus, I was told, some of the guys in his club had severe violence issues, and I wouldn't want to be stuck to one of their cars, late, with no witnesses.
You actually believe this story???
12V battery? Stuck to the car screaming? OMG. Thanks for the morning laugh.

Sorry about your issue,
What might be beneficial to the members here would be the circumstances about the break in. Where was the car? I know the mall but where did you park in the mall parking lot eg. way out in the boonies or close up . what time of day or night. anything else would be helpful. Could you have parked smarter? Just some feedback to help other

It is a pleasant remaining vestige of the lost and almost forgotten art of letter writing. A formal letter consisted of several parts; the greeting, the opening. the body, the closing and the signature.

It is also recalls an age of politeness, gentility, and a respect for the sender, the reader, and, most important, the language.

Learn something.

And, trusting you will give this matter your full and prompt attention, I remain, sir, your most humble and obedient servant,

Gunny John

PS. To turn the tables, why do you post without capitol letters, verb agreement or punctuation? GJ.

PPS. ZFlash, perhaps it's a good thing you didn't catch them. Very few Sh*tbirds
are worth the jail time. As Sonny557 said, "Do a burn out!"

That's some BS! At least you're in good hands with Richey.
I was at Northwest mall, I have a meeting their every afternoon. Here's a little update, went back today and found out they have a video. It shows them trolling and pulling in front of mine, jumping out and popping the lock and trying to get in then leaving. Good pic of front plate, turned it over to the law and letting them handle it. There was nothing in the car they could see, plus the window was down a little. All they had to do was put a hanger in and push the button, thanks for all the comments and support. Good luck with yours Maxx, off to Richey tomorrow. L8R ZFLASH

It's great you got the video, now find out who owns the car and then set it on fire.

Good to hear about the vid. Hope that turns up something at PD. Btw, you're not at fault and didn't do anything "wrong" with where you parked either.
Keep us posted if you hear any feedback from PD as to the turds that did this.

Not exactly an old wives tale but not quite right, either.
The 12 V battery is wired to a Model T Ford coil. The coil is connected to the car. When someone touches the car the coil will activate, sending about 12000 volts to the unfortunate toucher. It will give them a real jolt but there is not enough amperage available to do serious damage.
It will definitely teach dogs and cats not to pee on the wheels.
